What? Are you kidding? Why would they want me to switch?
Ok, ok, I know this sounds strange but after you read this quick post you will fully understand.
Here’s the facts… energy is delivered to your home (or office) by your local utility. That is what they do. Your electric bill will show the fee for this service. The energy being delivered needs to first be purchased somewhere, and this will also show on your bill. This is called the generation portion of your bill (GSC=Generation Service Charge).
