What?  Are you kidding?  Why would they want me to switch?
Ok, ok, I know this sounds strange but after you read this quick post you will fully understand.

Here’s the facts… energy is delivered to your home (or office) by your local utility.  That is what they do.  Your electric bill will show the fee for this service.  The energy being delivered needs to first be purchased somewhere, and this will also show on your bill.  This is called the generation portion of your bill (GSC=Generation Service Charge).  Your local utility is not allowed to make a profit from the generation of energy Continue reading »

Just a quick note to let you know that Viridian, the responsible energy supplier, is now available in New Jersey.  If you are a PSE&G customer, you can start saving on May 7th 2010 – that’s less than a week away!   This is great news!  If you are an ACE customer, you can begin saving on May 24th, 2010.  And if you are a JCP&L customer, you can begin saving in June 2010.  We don’t have an exact date yet for June, but I will post it as soon as we do.  You can always come back to this site, or you can Continue reading »
